Looking for ways to get paid while also building your STEM skills? Consider applying for summer internships. Deadlines for summer internships are approaching fast as the application filing period ranges between November to March. Apply to internship opportunities now!
Remember that it can take 3-6 months to get placed at an internship or land your first job.
The key to navigating your internship and job search process is by starting early! The fall semester is peak hiring season for many companies.
Use the tips below to get an idea of when to start your job search. However, keep
in mind that new opportunities are posted every day, so it's never a bad time to start!

Internship Application Tips:
Search for the right internship opportunity that fits your STEM major and area of interest. Many internships will request a letter of recommendation, resume, and essay statement. All of these things take some time to put together, so please take time in advance to gather your materials. Follow these steps to get started!

Contact Rance ([email protected]) for more support with the internship process, cover letters, personal statements, and scholarship support. Internship and NSF Scholars Drop-in Support Session (open to all STEM students) will happen through the winter recess after finals end. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 4-5PM. ZOOM ROOM.
